🤣🤣 "good as time as any to tell you that you're not my actual son" and "classmates are reading trivial notes from their actual parents" had me rolling in this coffee shop all by myself. I was feeling rather blank this morning so thank you for the much needed laugh. How long have you been writing comedy?

I mess with my kids too. I tell my 6 year old that she has a sister by the same name who doesn't live with us, and I would show her pics of herself and tell her that's her twin. And she's like, "what?? that's me!???"

A seven-year hostage situation, a traded infant, and the takeaway is a nice note about the school year. Perfectly calibrated.

I was also in a coffee shop by myself, and I smiled throughout, but when I read, “he quickly became UNrehabilitated“ I laughed out loud. I was also very amused by the twist at the end with Alistair. I mean, who can compete with a “Smooth tempoed golf swing”?

Much better than, "The maternity ward gave us the wrong baby, but we thought you'd be less bother than our actual one, so we kept you."
