Riveting tale, Bob! What do you know, turkeys do save lives. I'm fascinated by this type of road-life stories of which I know nothing. Keep them coming! I enjoyed how you mixed the confessional memoir tone with the suspense-horror of the crash.

Masterful character building & story telling. Maybe we all suck, in our own ways? A very enjoyable tale.

Wow, old Artie. What the hay? Haha. Sometimes a brush with death can really open a fellow's eyes. I hope he can get together with his daughter and have a good Thanksgiving. What a warm story. Thank you for sharing, Bob.
